A.C.T.S. Grid

What's new

What's new on A.C.T.S. Grid, in plain words.

October 2026

  1. A photo above each reading plan

Every plan on the Reading plans page now opens with its own quiet photograph, so you can pick one by feel as well as by name. Plans without a photo keep their soft band of colour.

  2. Find a passage in the middle

On a computer, the Find a passage box now sits centered at the top of the page, so it is the first thing you see. On a phone nothing moved.

  3. A side menu on larger screens

On a computer, a menu now runs along the left side with the A.C.T.S. Grid name at the top, then Today, Bible, Plans and Me. How it works, FAQ, Feedback, What's new and the light and dark switch sit at the bottom. The menu follows your appearance choice, light or dark.

  4. Related passages closer to the verse

On a phone, the Related passages link now sits right beside Read full passage, the same size and just as easy to tap. Opening it shows the linked passages under the verse you are reading, so you stay in one place.

  5. Easier to read your Continue cards

On a phone, the card for a reflection you have not finished now looks like the other cards, so it no longer blends into the menu at the bottom of the screen. It also opens fully in view instead of partly off the edge.

  6. Pray through the Gospel

The A.C.T.S. guide now gives four short prayers to the Father, the Lord, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Explore what the passage shows about God, our sin, Jesus' saving work and the life the Spirit grows in us, then add your own words.

  7. A calmer start on your phone

The A.C.T.S. Grid name now sits beside the mark at the top of every phone screen, and the home page no longer shows a prayer checklist. You see today's reading and one clear button.

  8. A tidier menu and your choice of appearance

The bottom menu has evenly spaced tabs and a clearer selected page. In Me, choose light, dark or your browser setting, which follows changes on your device.

  9. A simpler start to daily prayer

Today's passage now has a clear place on the home page, with your unfinished reflection close by. Find another passage from the search at the top, or browse books and choose a passage to pray.

  10. Study a passage the inductive way

Next to A.C.T.S. Prayer you can now choose Inductive Study. Walk through what the passage says, what it means and how to respond, then turn your answers into an A.C.T.S. prayer or print the worksheet for your group.

  11. Jump straight to the inductive study

When you tap a verse, an Inductive study button now sits beside Pray with A.C.T.S., so you can go right to the deeper study of that passage.

  12. Read your reflection as a prayer

A new Prayer option sits next to the Guide on every reflection. It turns what you write for each part of A.C.T.S. into one prayer in your own words, and fills in any parts you leave blank from the passage. You can copy it with one tap.

  13. See why passages are connected

When you tap a verse, related passages now come with a short note on how they connect. Tap one to open it in the Bible with those verses highlighted.

  14. Related verses at your fingertips

Tapping a verse now shows a couple of related passages right below the prayer button, so you can follow a theme through Scripture.

  15. Use A.C.T.S. Grid with your AI assistant

You can now connect assistants like ChatGPT or Claude to your account to view your journal, prayer list and favorites.

  16. Smoother reading on phones

Praying a verse on your phone now opens the full study page. The bottom menu no longer covers the end of a page, and short books like 2 John and Jude show every verse.

  17. A Bible reader built for prayer

The home page now starts with reading. Open any book and chapter, pick up where you left off, adjust the text size, switch to dark mode, and swipe between chapters. Tap any verse to pray it, copy it, share it or save it.

  18. Simple menu at the bottom

Home, Bible, Plans and Me are always one tap away at the bottom of the screen, along with a light and dark switch.

  19. Reading plans open on today

Plans with dates, like Seeing Jesus Together, now open on the current week with today highlighted, so you can find your place right away.

  20. A fresh new logo

A.C.T.S. Grid has a new four square mark, on the site and in your browser tab.

  21. Better previews when you share

Links to a passage now show the verse and its reference in a clean preview image on Facebook, X and in messages.

  22. A page for every passage

Each passage you study now has its own page with the verse and its A.C.T.S. reflection, easy to bookmark, share and find again.

  23. Groups and saved verse cards

Start or join a small group with an invite code, read the same plan together, and share only what you choose. Verse cards you make can now be saved to your own private library.

  24. Reading plans and memorization

Browse reading plans and track your progress day by day. Save one to four verses to memorize and practice them with short, spaced reviews.

  25. Optional accounts, private journal

Sign in if you like to keep your reflections, prayer list and favorite passages in one private place across devices. Everything still works without an account, and anything you wrote before signing in comes with you.

  26. Notes, prayer list and a finished prayer

Add notes to verses, finish a reflection to see it as one prayer, and keep the requests you write in a prayer list you can mark as answered.

  27. Share a verse card to Facebook

Pick a background like sunrise, beach or mountains, choose color or black and white, and share the actual card image. On a computer you can download the card as a file.

  28. Feedback, guide and questions

A new feedback page lets you tell us what's working and what isn't. A short guide to the A.C.T.S. prayer model and a questions page help new readers get started.

September 2026

  1. A calmer, cleaner study page

The study page is quieter and easier to follow, your writing is saved as you type, and the passage stays in view while you write.

  2. Try it yourself first

Write your own thoughts for each part of A.C.T.S., then reveal the guide when you're ready to compare.

  3. Today's reading and helpful extras

Each day opens with a reading from Seeing Jesus Together or One Harbor Church. Typing a reference suggests matches, a Surprise me button picks a passage, and verse numbers appear neatly above the text.

  4. The ESV, by default

Passages now open in the English Standard Version, with several other translations a tap away.

  5. A.C.T.S. Grid begins

Enter any Bible verse and reflect on it through Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication, with a short explanation for each part and a prayer prompt to close. The Bible text always comes straight from the translation, never rewritten.
